About Us

Lee Smith has over thirty years of experience  in actuarial and economic modeling. Before forming Paradigm Actuaries, he was in charge of Ernst & Youngs casualty actuarial consulting practice. Prior to that, he had been Chief Actuary for the State of Michigan, Director of Planning at Aetna Insurance, and Professor of Actuarial Science at the University of Michigan. 

Susan Hoffman Smith has over twenty years of risk and claims management experience...

Michele Sparks has over 15 years of actuarial experience, most of it as Manager in Ernst & Young's actuarial practice.

Our firm is organized to be nimble, but able to handle any size project. We have a network of actuarial,and science consulting firms with which we share work as necessary.
